Mac Civils Ltd builds the utility infrastructure that powers the modern world.
We work on projects ranging from a single ring main unit (RMU) to 132kV distribution networks. Since our foundation in 2010 we have built a strong reputation with private and public sector clients, including some of the UK’s leading distribution network operators (DNOs) and independent connection providers (ICPs), and we are proud to have worked on some of the largest renewable energy projects in Europe.
All Mac Civils operatives follow stringent health and safety procedures and hold the qualifications required for their work.
Quality and continuous improvement are central to how we operate. We are certified to BS EN ISO 9001:2015 and maintain that standard across every area of the business. The health and safety of our workforce, and of anyone affected by our works, is paramount: our health and safety policy meets all legislative requirements and we hold BS EN ISO 45001.
We understand the importance of protecting the environment for our employees, customers, suppliers and the wider community. We maintain a proactive environmental management system and hold BS EN ISO 14001 accreditation.
We hold full Lloyd’s Register NERS, WIRS, GIRS and Achilles UVDB accreditations and are Constructionline approved. These independent assessments demonstrate the competence of our teams and the standard of our work, and reflect our commitment to improving the business every day. Our transport department holds Silver accreditation under the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS).
