Our accreditation ensure that we have been independently evaluated for competence, performance, quality and above all, for safety.

By achieving our accreditation, Mac Civils are able to demonstrate to customers and suppliers that the systems we have in place meet the highest of standards set out by Achilles UVDB, Lloyds NERS, FORS and the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO).

 

ISO 9001:2015 is recognised worldwide as the international benchmark for quality within an organization, the introduction of 9001 has enabled to streamline our procedures to allow Mac Civils to continue to perform and develop in lines with our industry and clients’ needs.

 

The streamlining of procedures and transition to international standards Mac Civils realized that it was an ideal time, during the company’s development, to introduced an integrated system including ISO 45001:2018 covering the management of Occupational Health and Safety and IS0 14001:2015 covering the Environmental Management System.

 

An Integrated Management System (IMS) integrates all of an Mac Civils systems and processes into one complete framework, enabling us to meet customers’ requirements, improve on our occupational health and safety performance and reduce our impact on the environment.

 

Achilles UVDB

Achilles works to identify, qualify and evaluate suppliers on behalf of major organisations. UVDB Verify qualifies suppliers through assessment of Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) capabilities.

 

Lloyds NERS

Under the Lloyds NERS scheme we are technically assessed for accreditation for contestable works associated with the installation of electrical connections. We are a Tier 2 fully accredited NERS contractor.

 

FORS

The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) is a accreditation scheme encompassing all aspects of safety, fuel efficiency, vehicle emissions and improved operations. FORS helps us to measure and monitor performance in order to demonstrate best practice. It ensures that our fleet operates efficiently and that our drivers are fit, healthy and competent.

 

Each year, external Audits are carried out by a third parties to ensure our systems are maintained and any non-conformances or deviations are noted for correction.
